wow. given the detail you've managed to bring across here at 640 pixels, i can't begin to imagine how mind-blowing this must be to see large. that's dizzying just to think about. i do hope you'll get this printed as absolutely large as you can and hang it where it can be appreciated, because there really does deserve to be seen live and not digital. i really hope this doesn't get overlooked, and that viewers have given it the time it deserves. thanks for sharing, and good luck!

talk about bad timing...this would have been perfect for the minimalism challenge. as for a free study, this is a tough call. it seems a bit soft, and the bright sun has really taken a toll on the details and textures in the sand. it's highly unfortunate that there was no clouds are drama in the sky. that being the case, you might have considered a composition where the horizon didn't split the image through the middle. oh well, hope this does well for you. good luck!

as much as i want to say nice capture, there's just too much that feels artificial about it, almost as if i was looking at a stuffed animal in a museum. it must be the lighting. the composition and colors are fine, it's just the overall feeling of the image that is letting me down. oh, well, i'm just one opinion; i'm sure most others will love it. hope this does well for you. good luck!
