New York Skylineby jenesisComment: very interesting treatment. i would be interested to know some of the particulars, if you have a moment, along the lines of time of day, weather, etc. |

Secondary primary glassby JinjitComment: i can't believe i never commented on this--duh! i scored it a 9, guess i was being stingy. wonderful shot, perfectly executed. i'm inspired now to go on and try my hand on this one. |

sketch a rainbowby coldaComment: hi, darren, sorry to pick on you, but i'm trying to keep my comment count up, and this one is an easy target. nice, simple, clean, well deserving of its score. you might consider it a sellout, but all the same, you shouldn't be dismissive of the effort. the ability to 'throw something together' has to have root somewhere... |

Blades 2by JPRComment: this is my fave of the bunch. love the lighting and textures, as well as having a bit more context for the image. nice work! |

Blades 1by JPRComment: this has great potential, but i think i would be more dynamic if you rotated it so that there wasn't such a hard falling off on the right hand side. that part of the image is so vertical, and a bit at odds with the left. |

My Homeby JPRComment: i like what you're after here, but find the bright part of the background a bit too distracting. it would probably work if you selected it and dialed it down to being more like the background at the mid-left.

Fernby JPRComment: you might want to revisit your cropping on this one. the oof part at the top really takes away from a killer image. love the tones, textures, and colors. |

Big Brother Weddingby kawesttexComment: this is beautiful. i do hope you are taking full advantage of digital, and shooting as many perspectives and angles as you can whenever you have opportunities as this. sometimes, i have to take straight snapshot documentary type shots for my mom, but even so, i also make sure i get a few in for myself. as nice as this is, it could be a bit more emotive by making your subject slightly less centered. |
