Gaston's Damageby BarbComment: So, is the fence the "framing" - or just the plants everywhere? I'm confused as to how you were trying to frame and what you were trying to frame. Whatever it was, it escapes me. Sorry. Good luck though. |

Trying to frame a Waterfallby ArnarpComment: I like the waterfall, but the rocks and plants really serve, for me at least, only as a foreground reference point, not really a frame. Maybe if there were also some foreground leaves or rocks along the side of the image or across the top of the image, or at least in one of the corners, then maybe it would achieve the "framing" you were trying for ... Just my suggestion. Nice water though. |

Afternoon Cue in Blueby 77DXComment: Love those clouds. However, as to framing, it would probably show better as a "frame" if you caught part of the airplane's window around them. The end of the wing just didn't seem to act as a frame - only a foreground reference point. |

Framed in blue.by cathysappComment: My understanding is that the framing was to be in the foreground. Nice colorful and focused photo otherwise. |

Key to the closetby groggyfroggyComment: There's just not enough to this image for me to give it much in a rating. Yep, I can tell the out of focus area is a key hole, but I really can't "see" what is beyond. So, as for framing something, the something seems missing. Maybe more focus to the foreground and a lens setting that provides more image in the background would help. Just my thoughts. Good luck. |

Bell Towerby KatrankaComment: Sorry, I would have rated it higher, but the totally out of focus background made it really difficult for me to accept the image. The bug on the plant stem was, I'm sure, supposed to be the "frame", but it's just "there"; in the foreground. It doesn't really "frame", it just preceeds. I'd work for greater depth of field and more balanced, all around, framing. |

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hairby ladpupmoeComment: As a pure photo, I would have gotten a little more in at the top, rather than cutting it off. And, if there were a young lady with long hair up on one of the turrets, or in a window - then you wouldn't even need the title to explain what was going on. Interesting architecture though. |
