It always irritates me as well that I can't post anything of children or my kids in challenges because they seem to get beat up, simply because they're of my kids. I've received the most rude comments on shots of children because voters assumed they were my children.

Having said that, I really like some things about this image. I like her expression and the arms in the air. I actually think she is engaging. I do agree that there's probably not enough contrast in colors for challenge entry. Additionally, the focus seems a little soft. I also would have increased the brightness and contrast on her eyes to make them pop a little and cloned out the glare of the saliva on her tongue.

All just my opinion of course. She's such a cute subject though... keep taking shots of her and entering them for those of us who do like baby shots. :)

I agree with the crop comment. The image is too long for this type of image, imo. I very much like the subject and lighting, but my eye keeps drawing to the center, which is out of focus... and that's a bit uncomfortable for my eye.
