However, this image is not the best you can do, The blue bottles are nice but the orange displays very little tonal integrity. You get credit for the nice composition.

Has the dnmc police visited this image? Well, I see two main objects, since we accept that tires have rims to hold them. I like the background because of its cool laid back feel and what is the difference if one uses a plain or dressed up background. I am sure the challenge really meant three objects since you always need a tabletop or some backdrop. Bumping to 8 to offset the dnmc gang.

Painting the Rainbow?

Has the dnmc police visited this image? First allow to say that this idea is nice but the execution is not the best you can do. The rainbow background may give those counting objects glee because the rainbow display will be counted. Avoiding the jar would have helped because you show the candy in and out of the jar which means you could have avoided the jar altogether. Now, you are not painting color but a transparant coat. Never the less you get bumped to 7 for all the effort.
