Mask parade

A very interestimg study and a new take on a universal concept. Here in presenting three colors it evokes the triangle. This adds a completely different interpretation. The standard mask of comedy and tragedy speak of the human realm of existance. In this study it climds to the psychological concepts of whole and split or whole and defragmented. This picture has a strong appeal because of its hidden message. A very good composition and great colors. A way to make this a masterpiece is to use files and sandpaper to correct the cut-outs of the mask. Outside of this, this is a super study.

Addicted to Kisses

The object here is using the kisses as wedges much you would a lemon. I did not intend to balance the kisses therefore I hot knifes a wedge into them to lay snug on the glass rim. The silhoettes are hand cut vinyl on plexi. Shot with three strobes. One behind plexi, and two bouced so as to avoid hitting the plexi with the cut-outs. I get the urge for these ideas because I do not take challenges too literal with food and candy. There are enough literal entries to carry the day and then what do I do with the stuff? lol
