Awakeningby kirbicComment: This is great with great opposite color strength. I find the foreground fog a bit too strong to make a top notch study but the overall effect does win my attention and this is the object of any shot. Bumping to 6 |

Prowlin'by karmatComment: A very nice capture of this beautiful specimen. Since you chose to show the whole figure I would have done whatever ro get the claws. I do not like the bottom of the feet being cut off. If left with the inability to have captured the entire image, I would have gone for a facial study. But hey, that would be a different picture.
Despite this, the exposure and focus atr on the money and his pose is great. The colors are great. Bumping up to 6 |

Naughty .... but niceby agwrightComment: I look at this over and over again. I do not like the dof because it fades into a blur faster on the right than on the left. The strawberry is on the money in texture and exposure but the image does not entrain my attention. Yet it does have a very pleasing center with shade, colot and textures. Bumping up to 6 |

Peace Pleaseby SonifoComment: This is more a political statement than a human aspiration. It opens up a can of worms. If it is an aspiration then the element of evil enters which is the antithesis of peace. This is a sad fact of life and the flux of these good and bad concepts will forever carry on until one vanquishes the other.
The image then has the effect of humoring the innocent or the innocent relaying to the wise that war is bad. This message is appreciated by out better sentiments and by men of good will...but the world is filled with vaders who hate peace and human contentment.
The concept is great while the execution leaves a little to be desired becauses it rises the image to more of a poster than a photograpgic study. Bumping up to 6. |

Captivatedby sherComment: Charming beyond words. The facial expression with pouting lips and blown cheeks can not but enthrall the viewer. Now, the post processing is not at its very best. You have here a very good exposure, yet post processing has added a dark brown perimeter around the image followed by a halo of um artifact. This is evident around the shoulders and arms. The harsh crease on the joint of the left shoulder could have been addressed by a transparant clone because about this very area there is a breaking down of the quality of skin tones.
Yet, the image has enough zap to outsail these minor setbacks. The model carries the day. Bumping up to 6 |

Water Bearing Through Timeby labudsComment: This is a wonderful fountain study. The texture is well captured and the rust gives it that timeless feel. The frozen in space of the water droplets adds the sense of motion to an otherwise static figure. Bumping up. |

Summer Daysby dan_pendletonComment: This image has a mid summer's night dream feel. There is frolicking and a peek into innocence. I also look and see a few cyan colored artifacts the first right at the curl of the foreground foliage on the right. The image appears to have a lot of potential but as is it leaves the senses wanting. On charm and candidness bumping up to 6 |

Breaking Throughby muur88Comment: My problem with these images is the zone 10 or the burn out of the sensor. You see in real life the eyes are able to discern detail that the camera can not capture and so 10 zone comes in handy in small doses. However, this is not to say that this image is inferior with its ecstaric sky, lovely water and warm foreground. So you have my 7 but less 10 zone would have yielded a 9. I would joke that it is lovelu to squint at. |

The Complexity of PC Videoby BooZonComment: I just want you to know that this was a very image and the best of the circuit boards. You did a fine job and do not be discouraged as it is sometimes impossible to second guess the mood of the collective voting process. |

Daughterby dwolffComment: I just want you to know that this was indeed a very good image and very well put together. The reason that it did not end up higher is that there appears to be a limitation on the extension of concepts. Often time the voting blocks lock up on what is a contender and what is not. It is a mystery. Keep up the good work. |
