The end of line...by BoltiComment: A good concept but it could have used a more interetsing rendition. As is, it remains very static. 5 |

Fingerlinesby Mad-DComment: This is a very creative low key study with a lovely artistic feel. Yet, the implied arcs as presented by the fingers is not something the eye seeks to resolve. The mind does seek to form a whole out of the parts. But the interest to do so is to solve the immediate riddle of that which appears scattered. Here the image does not compel the mind to complete the arcs as they are not essential to understanding the image. Hate me, 5 for meeting challenge and 1 for artistic take. 6 |

Fallby PoobaComment: This does have a very sense of implied lines but why not take advantage of the image size allowed. It can only help your score. Lovely image. 5 |

Tug of warby pitsamanComment: This is both cute and funny but the rope creates a literal line and while one can argue that the stripes help create an implied line it is like implying an implied on a literal. My vote is therefore geared towards the composition. 5 |

Rice Harvestby KoriyamaComment: Meets the challenge head on and good choice for monochrome rendition. The image lacks luminosity and much of the vastness is lost. 6 |

Lighting the Wayby awpollardComment: A good selection for this challenge but in this case I would prefer more sgarpness to capture the lovely texture that is present in this image. 5 |

Line of Fireby bongoComment: This is a study which required more attention. I am guilty of this, so what i say applies to us both. The idea is superb but you are presenting the eye with one implied line to put together. Why not continue the matches around to form a U. This would give the study a perpective variation and a pleasing line ro bring the eye back into the image. I would have also considered some alternate takes with lighting. You get a 5 for meeting the challenge and 1 more for concept. 6 |

On Top of the Worldby OlyuziComment: A very haunting and beautiful image but missing the implied lines required. Of course, one can argue that the sun breaking past the cloids create lines, but these lines are more literal than implied. One can even say that the distant land creates a line, but this can also be said of the rock formation, yet while this weak dose exist they fall short. Again, the image is great and my vote reflects this quiality. 5 |

The Gallery: Forest Lawn Pro-Amby Dr.ConfuserComment: This image fits the challenge but it has a static feel. My two cents for improvement would be to get up close to the first gravestone on the right and shoot it and make iy a perpective study. 5 |

Worry Lines?by SteveJComment: A very good study but truly, these lines are very literal and one has to look gard to find the very few that break up and are therefore implied. Since it is a good image ny vote is based solely on this virtue. 5 |
