An image like this is rated on the tonal expanse of the background. The more, the better. As is the silhoutte, very well framed, is not shown to its full advantage. All in all, the image has enough virtue to earn another bump.

This is a very interesting natural assemblage. With these studies it is best to expose image for the 4th zone to avoid the loss of tonal stretch as the shadows area reach the 1 zone. However, interesting enough to earn a bump.

A very interesting study which would have faied much higher with a simpler background. The homogenous tones interfere with the spatial distance. It is good to sharpen a branch but care should be taken not to give it a metallic look. After all these comments, the image remains impressive because of its sheer display of strength. Bumping up.

While this is good, the center is too close to zone 1 and 2. However, its beauty can not be denied as the cluds blend in with the upper mountains. Bumping up.
