Sunday Morningby jenesisComment: Hey jen, I am giving a comment to everyone who gave me one for the beach challenge and your the last one! So I apologize if its not too good, Lol. First thing I noticed was the horizon is abit tilted. i think I may have tried to move the horizon up or down because I knida feel it cuttin the photo in two. I really like the dpeth of field and sepia toning in the photo. Congrats on the fav, now lets go F-stops!!

The Surfby sfaliceComment: Hey this looks familiar!! ALice, i had a great time at the GTG on sat. I am giving everyone a comment/critique who commented onmy image for the beach on the challenge and this is my 57th, yowsahs. I really like your shot and during the cahllenge I gave it a 7. One thing I would like to have seen was the end of the bridge on the right so it feels abit more complete. Other than that yours is great and has much more realistic colors then my entry. I actually have on shot from nearly this same spot at night, with the reflection in the sand. My shot was about two rocks over. Luckily the nudies were all gone when I got there. Thanks again for your comment.

The Dunes... All Fenced Inby jah_luvComment: Linda,
Thanks for your comment on my Beach entry, i thought I would give you a comment back. The color and lines are nice and done well and I like the angle. The problem I could see from voters perspective is that you have no beach in your shot, just sand and the challenge was really to shoot by the water, not a beach, so I had scored this a five and I think alot of others may have thought the same and voted similarly. Hope that helps, thanks again.

Mom's got dinnerby Dave GordonComment: Dave,
thanks for your comment on my beach entry and I would give a comment back. The first thing I looked at was your file size and that it was 84 kb and thought you might want to see this tutorial for photoshop on how to prepare image for submission. Your small details would much smoother if your file size was closer to the 150 kb size limit. I really think it is a cool way that you shot the photo too! I appreciate your comment, thanks again.

A Famous Irishby PascalComment: Paschalis, thanks for your comment on my beach entry and I thought I would give you one in return. The only thing I would really change is that I would turn the bottle alittle bit forward to read the title alittle better. I really like the processing on this image too. Thanks again joe. |

Classic Car Linesby CTBruceComment: Bruce, thanks for your comment on my beach entry I thoght I would give you a comment back. I think I think you found some interesting lines but I think perhaps trying to look at this with another angle to exaggerate the lines may have helped abit. For example shooting closer to the B in bel air and then looking down the words to read the the sign and having the lines exagerrated as they are closer.

Other Side of the Jettyby whitewolfComment: Alison, thanks for your comment on my beach entry I thoguth I would give you a comment too. i think it is too hard to see what is going on and you will get better score with straight horizon and larger photos. Here is the link to the tutorial mentioned in your comments during the challenge. Thanks again for your comment.

Loch Ness...?by Ragga2000Comment: Thanks for your comment on my beach entry I thoguth I would give you a comment back. I thought this entry was really good, I really like the reflections in the water both from the hill and from your son moving around. The only critique would be I could think of is that I wish your son was more in focus and the photo was just alittle brighter, just my opinioin though. THanks again for the comment.
