Curved towerby BlueZamiaComment: I agree with jrtodd, I also like how you can see a few faint clouds at the bottom. |

Oatby Trumpeteer4Comment: I really like the soft background and colors, but I wish the horizon was straight. |

Dad and His Bowling Alleyby timfythetooComment: nice moment, I think I would desaturate abit more and got rid of the greens so that all of the background was desaturated, but I like how the photo doesn't feel like it has been desaturated at all, so maybe not. well done. |

Aidan and Grandpa bowlingby timfythetooComment: Very nice family moment, my only critique would have been to shoot a higher angle to be from grandpa's perspective or from really low to be from Aidan's perspective. or maybe since your dad owns the bowling alley you could have walked into the gutter down the lane and shot them from the front. I really like the grain in the shot though, I think it works much better than it would have it was super clean and sharp. |

Afternoon Shadowby GraydogComment: this shot is great and super sharp< I like it alot especailly the deep shadows. I may try to crop some of the top of the photo to move the eye higher up in the comp. |

Spider Slayerby GraydogComment: this is one of the coolest bug macros I have seen on this site in a long time. My only critique would be to straighten the horizon or crop out the top part. really amzing shot, great job |

fireworks 025.jpgby optionComment: I think it is a great fireworks shot, I hope you don't mind but I fiddled with it in photoshop to try and get more color. I only used the selective color adjustment with the red channel (top to bottom) -30, 36, 7, 26. and the blue channel -49, 16, -71, -6. feel free to try it, I hope you don't mind. I alsoused a gaussian blur and faded it to about 20 percent, then ran through neat image to try and clean up the noise. Here is a link to what I did. Message edited by author 2006-08-25 06:11:26. |

unuk ungus - draft.jpgby optionComment: aonther great mountain view, I really like the shadow coming over the mountain top. My only suggestion would be to maybe play with dodging and burning abit to really bring some more contrast to the image. |
