Skin Deepby DustDevilComment: Great texture and idea for a self portrait. The grey mud really makes your eyes pop right off the screen, congrats on your 4th place finish! |

Tone's Rings<3by AndersComment: Interesting close-up macro and I think black and white is a good choice as it allows the eye look at the shapes in the photo. I think I would have used a deeper depth of field so that the ring was also in focus. I would like to see the spoon moved alittle to the right so that you could see the ring behind since that seems from the title of the photo to be the point of interest you are trying to convey, Just my opinion, hope it is helpful. |

DSC_0207a.jpgby PedroComment: I thought I had commented on this shot already, its in my favs. In fact when people come over and I show them my photos and Dpchallenge and I show them my favorite shots, I always show them this one. It just makes me smile and brings such a comically honest portrait to what can be a generic style of photography. It has brought the elements and honesty of street photography into a wedding day atmosphere. superb. |

newsprintby boysetsfireComment: Nick this is great man. although some detail in the face might be nice I don't think it is necessary, I think it actually adds interest to the image to have it dark, with the bright grey wall on the bottom and one shadow to compliment the the dark top except for the white bird and sliver of face and print. Sweet shot. |

Stairsby ustiebitzComment: sweet staircase! I only wish that it was perfectly centered and running right down the middle of the frame, only small wish, still and amazing shot. |
