Feb 1 my favorite tree.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: the fog is nice, I don't see the tilt really. I like the parallel of the fence and water's edge but I agree with megatherian that they don't lead the eye anywhere. small critique, because I do like the fence. maybe add a slight S curve using curves to add more contrast. i.e. pull down on the low midtones and pull up on the high midtone/highlights. just a suggestion, I really like the fog and reflection on the water. |

Indyby optionComment: all these are great shots, but maybe try some different crops just for variety, many seem to be square crops with a centered composition, which I think works well for most of them individually but looking at the whole series, I think variety would be nice. I am just trying to come up with something beside wow...:) |
