Was thinkin of going with this for the free study, but went another direction. Oh well.

An interesting note: this photo is ruined completely by the fact that he isn't actually grabbing his board. Sure, it has photographic merit, but without the grab, its worthless in a snowboarding sense :-(

Revisiting this to say, the more i learn about snowboard photography, this (and my other guy in the sky shots) is a brutal photo. No takeoff, no landing, no grab... this sucks.

WOW. Razor sharp and I love how he pulled his knees "above" that bottom ridge in the distance.

this shot is awesome I love how clear it is and how you captured the snowboarder, you can even see some of the snow he kicked up.. great shot
