Birthday Party Squareby OdysseyComment: Hey I think this is a good first entry, my first entry scored only a little bit better :). I like how you shot from above so you didn't know they were pins except for the shape of the shadows. I hope you enter some more challenges, you'll be beating your mom and dad in no time!

r e d r u mby MelethiaComment: I dunno why it didn't work, its a very cool photo. The only I could think that would have made it better is if you had really got the girls to stand completely straight and in the windows and had everything perfectly symmetrical. Other than that, I have no idea, it fits the challenge well in my eye. I guess great minds think a like :) |

Took the cameras out to playby MelethiaComment: I like this it has good black and whites, I don't really see it as overdone in anyway. I really like the one eye that is just peeaking at ya on the left. |

At the end of the dayby MelethiaComment: Deb, had to come back after I added it to my favs. I love that the photo isn't ask dark as it may appear at first, there is details in the hand bag and even some subtle details in the back left. These really add to the already graphic nature of this shot. Well done! |

Ivana and Friendby BeeCeeComment: I meant to comment on this photo when you posted your thread. This is photo is great, it reminds me of when I go into SF and hangout with my anarchists friends and I am the one in khaki's and a some sort of clean shirt. My friends are not so much and may have as much make up. We dress different but get along great. Nice photo. :) |

They Went That-A-Wayby cpanaiotiComment: Before I read the title, I thought the little guy was pointing. :) I think if it was me I would crop about half of the blue sky. It really is a good catch on the moment and the colors are great. Maybe from the shutter speed but the bird seems to have a little blur and the wood seems tack sharp, however for me it doesn't ruin the moment. Nice one :-) |

Falcons v/s Raidersby KronusComment: I like this, the sepia toning is great and really gives it that old feel. Personallt I think I would fade the texture back a little bit, but thats just personal preference.
BTW, whenever I need to look at what lens I want next I will just see what you got! I have been eyeing your 60 mm 2.8 and your 17-55 is a dream lens. Anyways nice shot, I'll go back to being broke and just looking at the lenses on your profile. :) |

LoL! I had my point and shoot that I try to carry with me and I picked a bad seat in the train and couldn't get any candids, so I put the camera on the ground and tried to use the flip up screen to get composition. It also got rid of camera shake. |
