I love the shallow DoF and the sharpness! great bw tones too. only nitpick is that the hair seems sharper than his eye, but that is more of a comment for general portrait work to do. In this instance I think it works fine.

I really like the back lighting, it looks like it got a little too bright in some of the brighter details in the leaf. It looks like you tried to bring them back through PP and it isn't noticeable on the firt pass. Maybe next time just play with the exposure more and look at your camera's histogram to not blow the highlights. 8
