I may have tried to darken the colors in PS using selective colors on the green and reds by moving the black slider. creative idea and nice stop motion action.

not sure what you used to edit this, but if you have photoshop trying using the Save for Web function. Your file is only 48 kb and you can use up 150 kb. This would have made the details around the fisherman and water ripples much smoother and boosted your score. Here is a tutorial that can help walk you through it. Its a real beautiful image I hope it does well for you.

I like the wisps of the brush sticking up. I may have tried work with the blues and cyan using a selective color adjustment layer to make it more of a complementary match. But as it is its a nice sunset.
