I think a darker background would have worked better here. The flowers fade into the background making the leaves the standout element in this photo.

I don't usually complain about borders but this one really bothers me. This would probably have looked better with a plainer border closer to the edge.

Nice effect overall. I just find the guy a bit too centred for my liking. Cropping a bit off the right would work better for me. Others may disagree, however.

The bottom half is stunning. I just wish you'd cropped it slightly above the head because that white patch is really distracting.

Actually I kind of like the effect.

Reminds me of an article I saw in a magazine about someone whose camera fell in water. After drying it out he has consistently got similar results to this. I'd love to be able to do it, but don't want to take risks with even my less valuable equipment.
