OK you all deserve an explanation about what happened to this shot..

This shot was edited on a laptop due to me being away from home, I thought it was great and looked wonderful on THAT monitor, I was satisfied. After returning home and seeing it on my MAC I was HORRIFIED!! and I tried to repair it by the deadline and missed it due to the time difference.

Yeh i could of pulled the image out i guess but I didn't.

Thank you for all the comments they all helped (apart from 1 or 2 but its all good).

I think I blew the chance of a ribbon here but learned a valuable lesson.

to answer a few questions this house definately WAS abandoned dissused and in fact had no roof the kitchen/bathroom section as seen in this pic were still intact and allthough it had "nice windows" it was totally rotten inside and i wouldnt want those windows anywhere near my house.

Hi Phillip, yes thats what i did. I took the sunset picture during a trip to Saipan and thought it really suited the challenge but as you know I could not submit an old picture nor could i simply shoot the whole pic again from my monitor or it would of broke the rules so i had to add something to this to make it original... enter the egyption pens.. Im happy with 16th place my highest to date Thank you everyone for nice comments.

im surprised it scored as high as 4 to be honest.. I had said to my GF if she beats my score then I'll buy her a new camera...now she has a Fujifilm S602z and a BIG smile...

I thought it was funny because this is a shot of her Mum...lmao!
