Please don't be discouraged by your score and low placement. It has nothing to do with the quality of the photo, just the size. Had this been a larger image I think it would have easily been above 6. Keep up the good work and try to use a bigger picture next time!

I hope this doesn't get overloooked just because it isn't in black and white. This is a fantastic shot and really has an Edward Weston feel to it. There are a lot of shots in this challenge that mimic his style, but this is actually the first one that I thought could have been his. Not sure exactly why... anyway, great shot!

Thanks! I actually used a shallow DOF on purpose. I hope that isn't what cost me a ribbon!
