Foster Parkby Yo_SpiffComment: What little bit of color is in this image ... is over saturated, specifically the reds at the bottom center and the green on the middle right. Colors like that just aren't natural. |

The Bakley Estateby MAKComment: I bet this would be a beautiful photo ... even without over processing it. To me, it's just too "unreal". The greens are over saturated, the water and grass are both over sharpened. The sky and clouds are too dark. (hint: generally any kind of reflection will be darker than the original, especially reflection off of a water surface, because some of the light is lost - but in this image, the reflection is brighter than the sky)
Turn the processing down just a bit and it'll do fine. |

Watching the fish go byby SimmsComment: Wow! Gorgeous shot Mark! I'm surprised that this is under the 7.0 mark. But you were up against some tough competition. This really is gorgeous though!

The Dancerby Breeee123Comment: A gorgeous image, to be sure. I would have expected a higher score from this one. |

Silenced by lovethelightComment: Congrats on the ribbon Claire! Well done and well deserved!
Just thinking about what might have helped it score a little higher... I'm thinking that maybe a little more detail in the whites (the nose and flower details). Not a lot, or it would spoil the effect. But just enough to give the viewer a little more to hang onto.
Anyway, congrats on another 7+ finish! :-)

Old Soulby escapetoozComment: I love the over-the-shoulder look and your composition works well bringing her to the left side of the frame. Beautiful gal, too. Where do you find such beauties to shoot?
