Wow... love the textures, the color, the emotion. The one thing that could be done to improve this would be to simplify the background, either through a large aperature for shallow depth of field, or simply shoot from a different angle to get a cleaner background. Good luck on the challenge!

Cute picture! I like the lighting on the halo and wings. The lighting on child's face, however, could be improved either with fill flash or a reflector. Good luck on the challenge.

I think this one could have been better with some kind of natural lighting rather than using a flash. The trouble with the flash is the harsh shadows in the background. The wood paneling works well as a background. The bench, however, is distracting. So perhaps a repositioning the items or shooting from a different angle would have helped as well.

You'll probably be told this many times, but ... you should take full advantage of the 640 pixels ... small pictures tend to get rated lower.

I love the idea behind this one. Things that I think might have helped the score are: a bigger picture (take full advantage of the 640 pixel limit), a sharper foreground and perhaps just a tiny increase in saturation.
