I love this shot From the intricate details in the very center, to the blurred, but still visible details around the edges. From what I've seen (admittedly only about 60%) this one gets the blue. GOOD LUCK! :-)

I like the sky ... but the plants in the background just sort of "blend into the sky" with little separation. I doubt the colors were similar ... so my guess is that performing your color-to-b&w conversion with Channel Mixer or something similar could have resulted in a much more compelling b&w. If you'd like me to explain more after the challenge is over, send me a PM.

I hope you're not getting beat up for your high-key like I am. Seems some voters don't know what high-key is. Anyway, I really like your image... because of the high key, yes, and because of the amount of detail you kept... in the eyes and the hair. I wish the right eyebrow was a bit more in focus, but that's the only thing I'm gonna knock on this image. Good luck in the challenge!
