Peek-A-Booby 2hooComment: Love the focus on the eyes, love the red. Somehow the bottom feels a little unbalanced... otherwise a great image! |

Color Wheelby bowhennComment: Perhaps not as colorful as one might expect in a "burst of color" challenge, but I like the idea. The image could probably be enhanced just by increasing the brightness (perhaps dodging the fruit to avoid overbrightening the rest of the image). |

The Magic of Wishesby JudiComment: Perhaps a little too much neat image (I like to see texture in skin to keep it real), but I really do like the idea here! |

Country Laneby BaldurTComment: It seems over saturated and/or hue-shifted... I guess I prefer colors to be bright, but real. |

Red Rock Jeep Adventures by JPRComment: I love the sky.... and the placement of the jeep is excellent, but the ground itself is just too saturated for my tastes. |

Framingby sigrun_thComment: Hmmm... I *love* the picture! But I don't see much backlighting going on. I do see a bit of "side lighting" on the model's right side... so I'll give you partial credit. :-) |

Me as a mother by unnevaComment: Beautifully done. I like the high key aspect of the photo. Maybe the hair is a bit overdone, but this image is just too precious to let a little thing like that hold it back. I love it. Hope to see this as one of the top finishers. |

The Sea Is The Mother Of Us Allby Bear_MusicComment: The water is oversharpened. Water rarely looks so sharp... Here's how to avoid it next time:
1) Apply USM for the entire image
2) Click the History brush
3) By default, the history icon will be on the original (as opened) image, you can move it to any layer just before your last change by clicking on the square to the left of the change in the history pallete.
4) Set opacity for the history brush to 50% or less.
5) Then begin painting back the previous (or original) view in the areas of the image where you don't want the sharpening to be visible.
Hope this makes sense. Any questions, feel free to PM me. |
