The pose, expression and color make me want to give this a higher rating. But ... there's just so little detail left in the blacks (in their hair). The tops of their heads are just globs of black on my screen... I can't tell if gaussian blur was applied (kinda looks like it) or if the contrast was just boosted too much. Anyway, I'd prefer to see hair detail rather than helmets.

I feel that turning her head just a little more towards the light, bringing a little more light on her right eye (left side of image) would help, plus a sharper focus on the eyes.

I love how the chair and the wall give her a sense of size. Filling the frame with a child often leaves out that sense that they are still young. Beautiful shades, excellent pose, great job.

Man, this image is enough to make a guy want to kiss the monitor. lol Beautifully done. Love the sharp detail in the eyes, the soft wet lips and the shallow DOF to keep my eyes focused right in that area. Well done.

Beautiful - looks like a painting. VERY NICELY DONE! I'm not sure how well this will vote compared to some of the other images in the challenge - but I can tell you this: This picture belongs on the wall! It is not just a picture, it is a work of art - from the lighting, to the setting, to the placement of the objects on the table. Beautifully done.
