Not sure the grain matches this shot. At least for me the expression here brings more light to mind than grain and dark. Still a good effort.

Very dramatic shot. Light grain is the right choice as heavy grain would have ruined it. I may have cropped so he was against the side of the frame but still very nice. Bumping this one up.

I keep coming back to this photo trying to figure out if I like it or not. So it gets points for at least stirring my interest. Still not sure that it works for me though it is a good shot. Still it is in my top ten percent.
