Hmm. I "get" it. At first, I marked down a little because although it fits the challenge, it did not seem very interesting, however, I felt compelled to look at it longer. I felt I was drawn in, and on longer examination, there is some really great texture going on here. I find it thought provoking. Nice job.

I looked at this for quite some time thinking about it. I like it overall. It seems pretty interesting. I like the compostion and your subject. It seems that you wanted to capture the bright sunlight from the window, that's what I had to think about. It is a nice effect, I like it behind the chair back, but I feel it kind of washes out a lot of the other background, and with it you lose some of the right side of the chair. Perhaps a little bit different time of day would still use that light, but differently?

This is a good concept. I like the layout. I think the shot would work better if more were in focus. The lighting seems to be coming in a little hot from the lower right.

An impressive collection. I believe I understand your shot. At first, it seems cluttered, but I think your dof makes this work alright. I agree that Betty Boop is easily recognizable worldwide, however, although it appears she is to you, I don't know if most people would see her as everyday?

I think this is a great abstract. The colors and texture, and composition are great. The lighting seems just a little uneven, it appears to get darker to the bottom left. In a different challenge, this could be a top pick, however, IMO, it doesn't look easily recognizable without the title. A slight drop for that, but still a good pic.

Seems awful small. You should use the full 640 allowed. It would show more detail. Looks like you should work on your lighting more. Seems like harsh light and shadows.
