Nice subject, but the photo seems kind of busy and lacking a real strong focal point to me.

Simple elegance. Very nice composition. The border adds to the photo I think in this case. Interesting enough, I can't recall the man's name at the moment, but I just saw him on Letterman the other night, he has a recent book out about the 'String Theory'. Lighting, focus -excellant. Perhaps trim the loose strands off, they are just a slight (very minor) distracting.

Interesting concept. Seems to be focused poorly though. Compositionally, I think it may be stronger if it were framed tighter in on the left and bottom, and if the lamp were not cut off at the top. I normally try to give a lot of leeway, and I'm trying, but sorry, I'm not catching your connection to the challenge topic?

Nice composition. Interesting subject with a lot of nice texture in the shot. Although shadows can help make a photo more dramatic, I feel in this case the large strong shadows on the structure take away a little from this shot. They seem to be robbing some of the texture and detail away. Perhaps a different time of day would be better?

It's a good thing I'm home alone right now, I just finally got calmed down from laughing so hard at the 'Java Man' entry, and then this pic pops up and I'm ROFLMAO again !!! What a gem. I love it ! Hilarious. Fits the challenge well IMO, composition, lighting, focus - Great. Awesomely funny and very creative. I also really like your models "expression". Terriffic job. Thank-you for a great photo and much needed and appreciated laugh.

A good concept that fits the challenge well IMO, however, it seems very "snapshottish". Lighting could be better I think, and the setting is cluttered. I think maybe a different perspective, perhaps tighter in on just the subject (the coffee pot), removing the distracting elements would help immensely.

I can't stop laughing !!! This is great, hilarious. Awesome idea! I was so amused by the overall concept, it took me a moment to notice the actual word and picture on the cup logo, then had to laugh even some more. I love it. Oh, and the composition lighting and focus are all pretty good too, hehehe. Great job, thank-you, brought some much needed bemusement to my day. :-)

Fits the challenge very well IMO. Like your focus and lighting. I also like how you've executed the shot, I've seen it done before and quite often, the shot ends up spoiled by catching a cluttered background. You've quite nicely focused the attention on your subject. Nice job.
