Sacrificeby GrandmomComment: Good shot here. Your choice of framing and composition, with the grave filling the foreground, and including the trees, and other stones in the background gives a good sense of depth to the image. Maybe just a matter of taste, but I might try to adjust levels just a bit, and try to bring out just a tiny bit more darks in the grave and grass, just to give a little boost to the overall tonal range. Nice job. |

The Beastby fotomann_foreverComment: Hehe :-) This is actually a pretty cool shot. Really nice job on the duotone. In this challenge, for my high scores I am looking for shots that are not only technically well done, but also have good tonal range to the duotone, and an image where the duotone adds to, or strengthens, or works for the image. I find this photo fits that bill. I also like the solid, strong yet clean composition. It does seem like the lighting coming in from the right is a bit harsh in the top , along the edge of the skull and noticeably on the leg. Maybe that is what you were going for, but I'm thinking the presentation could be a tad bit stronger without that minor distraction. Perhaps by adjusting distance of light source, or diffusing it, or even in editing the hot spots could be toned down just a little. Cool shot overall though. Interesting and well done. Nice job. |

Hats Off To You!!!by doctabrezComment: Cool shot. Great pose. Very interesting. Nice model. Seems like the girls blouse and her hand is blown out though, exposure wise. |

Contemplating Duotones...by Rae-AnnComment: I like the concept. I like the duotone treatment, good job. I like the overall composition. But I don't think I'm crazy about the air conditioner. I'm thinking that with the idea, and title, maybe the same comp, but with computer, or camera or something along that lines in front of the subject could possibly work a little better. Maybe that's just me though :-) |

The Life of Cambodiaby claramarieComment: An interesting subject. I like the composition. I'm thinking the presentation could be stronger with more contrast. Maybe just some levels tweaking could greatly enhance the light to dark tonal range. It seems just a little 'flat' here. |
