I like this image -- I was one of your 7's. For me (and I may be slow) it was a tad disorienting at first and then it took a moment to sort out what I was looking at. Requiring the viewer to linger in order to understand can be a wonderful thing, but my theory on why this underachieved in score that some voters in a hurry may have blown past it without taking a moment. Much as blindjustice said, the tones and contrasts are terrific. I love the big smiles and bare legs and shoulders of the dancers contrasted by the more dour, bundled riders. I wonder if you had cropped just a tiny bit higher and/or lower so folks could recognize it is a double decker bus a bit more quickly if this might have scored higher.
