Spaceby marboComment: Interesting shot and a great background.
Not really sure the selective desaturation works that well on this one though, as it makes the sky & the water the main focal point as the eyes are drawn naturally to the part that jumps off the page (the color), instead of being drawn to the focus of the challenge, being people. |

From this day forward...by utroComment: I really like the composition and silouhette effect captured here.
Had this shot been sharp/clear, it would have scored much higher in my opinion.
Well seen and composed regardless. |

Kidsby LesleyNelsonComment: Not really sure the selective desaturation works well in this shot.
B&W is always a good choice in my opinion, but the red is a clash in this shot as the objects in red were not really the main focal point the way eyes would be for instance. |

Finding comfort and securityby lawlessComment: Composition is great as was the choice for converting to B&W.
Only negative point here was the "look" on his face clashing with the title in a way. Dad here looks a bit fed up or cross, as his eyes and forehead say ugh. |

The Nature Photographerby NodeComment: Image seems pretty dark and either a bit blurry or out of focus.
Tough shooting conditions in all that shade huh?
Foreground branch is cutting right through the main subject of the shot too, which hurts the overall composition. (5) |

Nash, what?by mpembertonComment: At 416x320 pixels, this image is hurting because of it's small size.
It's unique for sure, but somehow feel the car is pulling the point of focus away from the man, which is what this challenge is all about. (5) |

say no evil...by frumoazniculComment: There is so much history and so many stories to be told from looking at the eldery's faces.
You have done well capturing a life of experience here, along with a great job in the post-processing. (7) |

Length Does Matterby MontereykiddoComment: Good choice for a B&W.
The look on his face along with where his eyes are looking really helps this shot.
Not sure why I like this a lot, but just do. (7) |

Last Goodbyeby blemtComment: This required a little bit of studying to appreciate.
At first I wasn't sure what was reflection and what wasn't.
Emotive, well composed and unique point of view. (7) |
