Before the Sunby LN13Comment: Very intriguing and interesting capture. A bit to square and too much empty space on top for me. but still a very nice shot. (7) |

Whitesbog Morningby jerseyjimComment: eXCELLENT. The tree helps add a focus drawing element. Good choice. Nice colors. Superb capture of the rays... A touch too grey to the right hand side and bottom. A slight extra cropping would have been helpful IMHO. |

It blows your thirst away!by graphicfunkComment: Since gatorade has no alcohol I consider a soft drink.
That said, in a moment of humor I put the nice german boch back in the fridge and grabbed a Woodchuck Cider (as woodchuck rhymed with rubber duck) and into the composition it went.
I know at least one "1" and likely the others were for failing to meet the challenge by having an alcoholic drink. |

Hopeby EyesupComment: I find that the two subjects are clashing with one another. How they overlay on top of the other. The wood cross is really out of focus but sharply outlined. Which gives it the feel of being cut and pasted, even though it wasn't.
I like the exposure on the white cross. But you've cut off the other person's head. You've also cut off the right edge of the cross.
Lastly, there is no border. Everything is cropped so tightly as to not allow the viewer's eyes to back up from the subject.
Hope that helps. Stick with it. You'll improve greatly on this site. |
