I guess I must not know about that trick - years ago it was a potato. Of all the bananas in the challenge yours is one of the few that looks to be in good shape - no spots. Nice exposure but not much real interest.

Original! How do you tell the sex of a banana anyway? Perfect expoyre - would proably work better on a dark backgrould without the wood grain.

You have a GREAT portrait of a very expressive face. Your lightinhg technique is near perfect with half the face in soft light and the other half in minor shadow. The sepia printing is perfect for the subject. Having said all that, I hope you took the same exact shot WITHOUT the bananas. They are so very distracting with the placement and the OOF. It just didn't work for you.
