Perfect lighting, composition and choice of background. Strawberries were a favorite subject in this challenge - but yours is well above the others. For me - the white line in the boprder is not needed,

Superb sidelighting! I really LOVE it when someone breaks the rules and makes an image work. Your image is dead centered - a no-no, BUT this is the exception to the ruke. It should be just as you've done it. The black background is perfect. For me the thin brown line in the border is not needed. I expect this to be headed for the land of ribbons.

This challenge had a good number of "below average"images for me - so it makes yours really stand out. You've done it right - simple, expertly composed and exposed. The lines you created with the chocolate leading around the nuts are perfect as was your choice in size and color of the leaf. The ONLY thing I would suggest is that you don't need the shell.
