An interesting concept. The foreground is so prominent though that if it were me I'd try a little harder to hold that in focus also.

Flower Shadows

Although it would be difficult with the light levels in your picture, it would have been nice to have more DOF. As it is, the eye is attracted to the light area on top of the flower which is a little behind the focus point. If possible it would have been better to focus about 1/3 of the way, or maybe even a little further, back from the front of the flower. Then the light part would be sharp, and even if the front was a little blured it would help the eye move to the center of interest in you picture.
