City Leafby mciComment: Boy...they're gonna nail you for this one! I like it though. You might have controled your exposure a little more. The leaf is a little blown out, and if you were to use 1-2 stops less, you wouldn't have lost much detail in the street. |

City Life in West Texasby albright1Comment: Reminds me of an old landlord. Nice shot. I know it would have been hard, but it would have been better if the toad was on something that wasn't so similar to his coloration. |

Makin' A Livingby mtngoatComment: ...And not an easy one at that. This shot might have had a little more power if the light were moved up a little. The hydrant is too prominent and pulls the eye from what should be the picture's focus. |

Toronto Star Hereby PeltzComment: Good challange entry. Would it have been possible to take this picture a little earlier or later in the day? It appears to be within two or three hours of midday when the light is harsh. I had the same problem with some of mine and had to throw away some good subjects. |

Night Seattleby YuliyaGComment: Looks like you took this looking south from the Space Needle. It would also have been nice facing northeast looking over Lake Union. Good night shot. My wife's jealous. Hers never turn out so well:) |

The Old Port of Portlandby csbComment: I had a photo that described my city in the way you did, and had I seen yours I would have had the guts to submit mine. I'll give you the score I wish I would have gotten:) |

Life is like a river...by dmasseyComment: You'll probably be marked down because your shot lacks contrast, but to me it perfectly shows the feeling of the heat and humidity. |

City of people - City of joyby ssComment: Good 'street festival' photo. I think the basically formal composition used tends to make the picture a little static, and I'm wondering what's really going on. I know I had trouble defining an event in one picture also, so I can't really complain too much:) |
