This looks like you just went out and snapped a photo without really thinking about what you wanted to say. I image is fine, the scene is nice, and there is a silhouette - but it just doesn't move me in any way. Subject wise, there is nothing going on - just a guy walking out of a shaded area. Compositionally, I think it's way too centered. The eye goes right to it and then doesn't feel compelled to move around in the image to see what else is there. Don't get me wrong, just trying to help. 5

I think the images, while they are silhouettes, are not distinct enough from the background. It's hard to make out what's happing here. I think you will find that the top scoring images will, even though they are blacked out, be clear and easy to make out.

This is an excellent composition. A drawback is that there is a lot of post process haloing all around the lines and edges.
