You lose a little definition, photographing through the aircraft window, but it is better than crawling out onto the wing. Warmer too I would think. Seriously this works very well. If the plkane had been any lower, the patchwork of fields in the coun tryside might have made the picture messy, but at that height, they more or less blend into a blurry background, and don't interfere with your scheme.

The silhouettes produces by the stark contrast of the bright sunshine and the deep shade give this picture great character. Or is it sunshine, it looks more like floodlighting, whichever it is it is very good.
