This is quite a picture, and it breaks some of the rules, and gets away with it. Two-thirds of the picture is virtually blank, and yet the colour is so attractive, that it is forgivable. The crane support bisecting the setting sun is an unforgettable image.

This picture looks unedited to me, and is a really first-class image. We used to have sodium lights in London which gave off this rather eerie colour.

I said in a previoius crit, that just taking a picture of something orange, is not quite enough. I have to eat my words. I can very nearly SMELL this rose.

This is a good pohtograph, but I'm not sure that just taking a photo of something orange- coloured is quite enough. It needs a bit of ingenuity, and that is not so
aasy. Perhaps that is why I hven't entered for this challenge.

I always have a problem with photos of 'bits' of buildings. This is well-taken but
I think that aspect of it is a minus. But not everybody thiks like I do. Don't give up.
