Progression of the Tomatilloby blazingmoonlightComment: Everything is excellent except the wrinkle in the left side of the picture (looks like baking paper). I still give it a 9. The colors are excellent. I could easily have somthing like this on my kitchen wall! |

An apple a day..........by shernandez7Comment: I don't get it... excellent quality - excellent light - excellent use of b/W - but the picture itself is not interesting to me. Anything in a picture that does not add to it, detracts from it. A person's back is in my mind not adding to this picture.

Free Sample for a Favored Customerby beamsclanComment: I really like this... cropping is perfect and the light is slightly brighter around the apple.
It tells a story beyond the apple. It shows (to me) the person that sells the fruit and her little world (with the background). An excellent environmental portrait.

A-peal-ingby shabri9Comment: Great shot but would have been much better if you had taken the time to make a different background. Maybe a white sheet? If not, you could also have blurred the background more by using a bigger aperture. 6 points from me. |
