A good artistic twist that focuses in the rock. I like the angle and the fading into the white. It was also a smart move to draw the attention away from the dead center of the frame by leaving more of the left side of the band exposed than the right. The minimalistic look is very pleasing to me.

The background color is a bad choice. Taking a picture of a camera is another bad choice But any picture is good for practice and I'm pleased to see that you tried to find a creative angle.

Very nice! Technically it is sharp and looks good in b/w. But I also like the entire concept. The cropping with both faces on the outside but enough visible to see that it is a young couple (or at least opposite sex) laves something for the imagination.
I also like how the guy holds the can in a guy manner while the girl is doing in a much more girly way.

The only things that is in focus here is the ring and it is dead center... Not appealing to me but may be to other. I understand the idea and that you wanted to put focus on the challenge topic but it just doesn't look very good as is.

As much as I like the hand (it is a very nice looking hand! :)) I would have maybe opted to put the ring on a branch on the tree and tried to make it interesting. I know - maybe a bad idea but I just don't like this with the hand in it.

Great idea with a good result. The crop/composition is good and the choice of green 'chlorine' is also appropriate.
It looks as though there is an alien with a very empty look inside the mask - nice effect!

How does this convey the periodic elements? Ok - so it doesn't really matter too much but the image is just not very good. Out of focus, dark and the pumps looks a little like junk in this particular setting.
I do however like how how you used the tree to frame the picture.

Not a super interesting image but you managed to get an ok photo out of a brass chain. Sharpness, shallow DOF and lighting is all good.

Great idea and a good result!

The shallow DOF, b/w and slightly grainy look makes this a nice image to me. The angle which you captured this in addition to the lights in the background makes it even better.
I'm not sure if you put the weeds there yourself but I love it regardless. It would have been a totally different image otherwise.
