Yeah, some of the rudest photographers I've ever had the misfortune to meet were at Arches... if you were "sweaty wrecks" making it to Delicate Arch, imagine how difficult it was for the "happy families" with kids who wanted to memorialize that achievement... They had just as much right to be there as you and the rest of the "photog crowd".

That said, it's a decent image and obviously appeals to the DPC crowd.

Very nice light. You might want to try cropping just a bit more off the top, though. If you cropped down to the lowest semi-circle of the yellow band, you would retain the impression of sunshine (especially with all the nice light rays) without having to contend with the blown gray sun blob, or the impression that the image is tilted. One of the true beauties of the Grand Canyon is the variety of colors which shimmer in the light. I don't know if you could bring back some of those colors through your tone-mapping, but if you could, you would have a spectacular effect. With a few more tweaks, this could be off the charts outstanding.
