_DSC0095.jpgby sulamkComment: I, too, just love the spots on the birds and the dots in the grass. We used to have a small flock of guinea fowl on our place as they were rumored to help keep snakes away. I don't know about the snakes - we still had some, much to my dismay, but they sure were efficient watch birds. They would set about that unusual clamor of theirs whenever any strange creature, mankind or otherwise, would set foot on the property. I tried to keep them in the barn at night, but they much preferred to roost in the trees. Thank you for bringing back the memories of these eccentric creatures. |

02 - Lake at Sunsetby ErikVComment: This is just breathtaking....
I'm a little sad about going back to regular time. I do not have a window at work and these days, I will go into work in the dark and come home at dark. Be careful during your evening run. |

Day 1 - A dogby hajekaComment: I like that the pup is looking the opposite direction from her owner. Two interpretations come to mind. One - they've got each other's backs; and the second (probably more accurate for a border collie) that she doesn't want to watch because she will be so sorely tempted to jump in and help. Those kids couldn't possibly herd that ball as well as she could. |

1-nov 08 slice of life. a chance encounterby rozComment: What an attractive couple, and what a beautiful story.... Katee is gorgeous, and he looks enchanted in a doggy sort of way. The post processing is perfect for this image. Would love to know how you did it. Both of these little angels are so lucky to have found such caring humans to share their lives. |

1-nov 08 slice of life. indignitiesby rozComment: This is expression to me says "Excuuuuse me! This is no way to treat a lady!!!" You can tell, however, that she feels safe with her human's arms her, and that for that reason, she is willing to endure the indignities (what a perfect title by the way) if necessary. Hugs for Katee from Chaco and Bear... with much empathy. |

1-nov 08 slice of life. a visit to the vetby rozComment: This is such a special moment. You can tell from her ears that she is uncomfortable, but that she trusts her human and willing to endure the discomfort because of that trust. I like that you captured her paw on his arm - almost like they are comforting each other. Great capture. |
