The Rocking Horse Winnerby JudiComment: Great image, good timing and DOF.
It may very well be my monitor, but the image does not seem to be as crisp as it could be. The sun seems at its peak and may have some impact on the image. Have they started the rodeo competitions in Emerald already. I do believe I had the good fortune of visiting that location the last time I was in Australia.
The very best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Born Freeby ChandlerjaComment: I would wager that this is a VAWendy image, that the bird is flying west in the latter part of the afternoon and is relatively close to the location of its' nest.
Very nice image and I hope it does well. |

River Fireby BarbBComment: This looks like an image of Brisbane taken from Southbank during the recent fireworks display. Nicely done and here is hoping you do well in the challenge. |

simple pleasuresby skewsmeComment: I have no idea just how you managed to give this image such a hazy hue or how you arrived at the colours in the trees, but I do marvel at the end product.
Very nicely done and I eagerly await the results of the voting as I do believe this should do very well in the challenge.
The very best of luck to you. |

Quiet morningby bob350Comment: This challenge has revealed yet another gem. Anyone who knows me has an appreciation of just how much I love barns and rural landscapes.
A very nice image and it is somewhat sad that the trees had not yet fully changed colours as that would have added even more to what is already a beautiful image.
The very best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Hill Countryby Bear_MusicComment: Yet another gem in the challenge. It almost seems like the road runs uphill and veers to the left and I wonder what the image would have looked like if the photo had been taken further back.
All factors considered, a very nice image and I do believe it should do very well in this challenge.
The very best of luck to you. |

Need More Ranchby MelonMusketeerComment: I would wager that this photo was taken in Australia. Not a bad image, but the presence of the partial tree and cow on the left detract from the overall image. The bland sky and the lack of crispness of the photo are also factors that have a negative impact on the overall appeal of the image.
The very best of luck to you in the challenge. |

clearing fogby vikasComment: I look at this image and could swear that I have seen this very barn somewhere. The leading lines, presence of the fog and what I assume is the morning light... all of these contribute to making this a very appealing image and is definitely one of the better images I have seen in this challenge.
The very best of luck to you. |

Sleepy Hollow Farm by Ja-9Comment: Oh my... now this is a very nice image and reminiscent of what one would expect to see in the New England States.
A stunning image that makes my entry pale by comparison and I fully expect to see this on the front page at the end of the voting process.
Very nicely done. |

Paniniby PaulFrocchiComment: I recognize this... the culinary display of the single man. A very nice photo actually, and here is hoping it does well. |
