Candlelight Sonataby taterbugComment: I hate to be picky, but the lightswitch in the background is very distracting. Also distracting is a kind of disequilibrium feeling from the photo not being centered (I know a lot of people frown on centered subjects, but for the symmetry in this shot to work, it probably needs it). The shadows on the wall detract a bit as well. I do like the piano and candles together as a subject, and I am not interpreting the challenge instructions SO literally that multiple light sources can't include those being in the picture (as opposed to being applied to the subject photographed). I think it is a good attempt...you obviously worked hard on your setup and were working for a particular look or mood. |

Blue Desertby ileanaComment: I think I would like it better without the driftwood. Nice colors, interesting lines and patterns. |

ahhh....by euclidsComment: I wish I could make out more detail in her face, especially around the eyes. Interesting subject. Contrast adjustment might help. The umbrella seems a bit blown out, along with some areas in the BG. |

I see dead peopleby jzossComment: I will have to give you credit for the Aggie shirt, but the shot itself is a bit blurry, tilted to the left, and the red-eye is distracting. There are multiple lights in the photo, and it is a unique interpretation. |

In The Redby debitiptonComment: I'm really likin' this one here!!! Great focus on the little girl; interesting lines, bright colors. Wish the sky wasn't so blown out, but we can't change the weather! Great shot! |

Smile For The Camera Harry!by GolferDDSComment: He looks like he's say, "Psst...hey, you...look over there at the crazy guy with the camera..." Great capture. I love it! Excellent clarity, focus, and DOF. One of the best I've seen this challenge. |
