Down the other roadby DonatienComment: Just came across this again while perusing a forum...didn't comment during the challenge but I found this intriguing. The red around the the mirror really sets this off. I like the clarity and the vibrant colors. Well done; should have placed higher IMHO. |

banana birdby spydrComment: This window looks familiar...but it might just be me. LOL!
I like the concept and the shot is technically well done. One of my top picks. |

A Carnie's Life For Meby DefyTimeComment: Boy, that ferris wheel looks familiar...
I love the shot myself, but those being very particular about the interpretation of the challenge instructions given might not feel so inclined. Hope you do well. |

Candlelight Sonataby taterbugComment: I hate to be picky, but the lightswitch in the background is very distracting. Also distracting is a kind of disequilibrium feeling from the photo not being centered (I know a lot of people frown on centered subjects, but for the symmetry in this shot to work, it probably needs it). The shadows on the wall detract a bit as well. I do like the piano and candles together as a subject, and I am not interpreting the challenge instructions SO literally that multiple light sources can't include those being in the picture (as opposed to being applied to the subject photographed). I think it is a good attempt...you obviously worked hard on your setup and were working for a particular look or mood. |

Blue Desertby ileanaComment: I think I would like it better without the driftwood. Nice colors, interesting lines and patterns. |

ahhh....by euclidsComment: I wish I could make out more detail in her face, especially around the eyes. Interesting subject. Contrast adjustment might help. The umbrella seems a bit blown out, along with some areas in the BG. |
