I really like this image, and I can't explain why. That doesn't make any sense, does it? ;o) I love the yellow and the composition is nice. The contrasts are great.

I like the approach you have taken with this shot. I do believe that it could use a boost in the saturation of the reds. Maybe a slight change in composition...placing the strawberries more in the left corner, giving more of a view of the shapes of the other fruits so that they aren't quite as abstract might add some emphasis on the berries themselves as they pop off the screen in red. I know I'm rambling, but that was what kind of jumped out at me. Good shot, could be a little more powerful. :o)

I'm guessing he'd go into the Obituary section...poor lil' guy! It's a pretty good macro shot. A little soft on the focus, but you can still make out a fair amount of detail. The bright bottom line is a tad distracting. Your caption (title) might help your photo make more of an impact and a connection with the voters if it were to read like an obituary typically does, but that' s just me assuming the voters might not "get" this one. I think it's a good attempt at the challenge. :o)
