I am sure that in your artist's vision, this is a technically correct, challenge-meeting photograph. However, I must say that to the eyes of most DPC voters, it will not be seen as such. I admire your creativity, risk-taking, and ability to step out of the box. :o)

Howdy from the Critique Club!

You can probably imagine my shock and dismay when I went to retrieve an image to critique and this one popped up...Oh my gosh! What can I possibly say that hasn't already been said???

The desaturated colors work perfectly for this image, and I even like the dead-on centered horizontal line the horizon makes. Focus is perfect, composition is perfect, and it meets the challenge to a T.

I am always amazed and inspired by your photographs. Your ability to capture the world around you, and then to manipulate it into your mind's vision is an extraordinary gift. I am so pleased and honored to have the opportunity to learn from your work. Thank you for sharing your work with us! :o)
