Windblown Whiteby KevinRiggsComment: Terrific photo and I'm giving it a good score so don't worry. I guess I am just old fashioned but the torn jeans diminish the photo for me. |

Contemplationby JasComment: I have a personal weakness in the form of intolerance for tilted horizons. To me, they give the impression of sloppiness. Sometimes a horizon tilted purposefully will improve a photo. In this case I don't think it does and it's tilted to a minor degree so that I can't tell if it's on purpose, or an error. Otherwise it is a well composed and executed photo. Great color. Gives a sense of drama. |

Fire In The Skyby Nikonian NinjaComment: This is a very powerful image. I can easily see this as poster art for a dramatic movie, or maybe book jacket art. This would make an interesting title image for a TV documentary. Very well done. |

Futureby dleachComment: I really like this concept. The composition is wonderful. But in execution it feels a little washed out to me. There appear to be some post processing artifacts in the clouds. Maybe a bit more contrast would help. As always, just my opinion. |

Harbor Ropeby rupypugComment: This would have been better IMO if the rope werent over exposed. |

Cloudy Sunsetby DAWARComment: Soft focus is designed to leave important details clearly evident, but to soften context and unimportant details. You've gone too far, IMO, to really meet the challenge. |

The Happy Coupleby rlennoxComment: Soft focus is designed to leave important details clearly evident, but to soften context and unimportant details. I can see what you're going for here and I like the idea, but it's realy more an exercise is shallow DOF than soft focus. IMO, you haven't really met the challenge. |
