Really should have scored higher. I think the thumbnail and/or a quick look at a subtle image sabotaged this. It is an amazing image. Please PM me and let me know where it was taken. Thanks. |

Demons of the Blue Vortexby GeneralEComment: Your choice of saturation goes beyond what I find pleasing. I do like how the contrast between blue and red seems to thrust the red forward. And with my bifocals, it gives it a 3D effect. |

"Hi"by jtf6agentComment: Excellant application of high key and selective saturation. But we've seen lots of it before and this one adds little beyond the others. Perhaps, if all but the eyes were converted to B&W, it would be more effective? |

Miss Scarlettby wickedpeteComment: I find the hindmost part of a cat difficult to be interested in. But I like the framing and that you've captured one eye looking back. They partially redeem my interest in this. |

stripesby lowonenergyComment: I am personally weary of "trash the model" photos, but given the genra, this works pretty well. |

Innocence @ a glance..by Bellissimo0106Comment: You've chosen a soft focus for this. Sometimes having something, however small, in perfect focus enhances the overall soft effect. Sepia works well.
Sometimes we take photos that mean a great deal to us because of our affinity with the subject. Perhaps that's the case here. But I don't have an affinity with the subject, so it's not as interesting to me. |

~ simply alone ~by gocComment: I like the focus you've chosen here. I like the lone subject, small in the nature you've captured. Centered boundary between water and land would generally beconsidered less effective than a less centered boundary, but in this case, it works pretty well. |

The crossby Rino63Comment: Lighting does a good job focusing the eye on the subject. |
